Florida Blue, a health insurance provider in Florida, approached us with a significant problem: obesity is a major threat to the state's overall health, and by 2030, it is predicted that 60% of Floridians will be obese, increasing their risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.
We came up with a solution to encourage Floridians to walk a whole lot more. By partnering with Lyft, we aim to inspire people to increase their daily steps by introducing a walk-and-save option. This initiative reduces the cost of their ride if they walk the first part of it. And we are calling it The Healthy Lyft.

How it works…
Similar to Wait and Save on the Lyft app, the new Walk and Save gives people an easy way to get some exercise in while keeping more money in their pockets.
